This is one of my biggest criticisms with the Republican party: their branding and marketing problem. During my guest-hosting duty today for Glenn Beck, I explain this and offer ideas throughout the program, which you can watch here.

Side note: I know Reince Priebus personally and we get on quite well. Here he is wearing a Dana Show sticker at CPAC:

I’ve found Priebus a responsive Chairman and is willing to engage on any platform. We don’t agree on everything, but this is a characteristic I want to highlight lest people think I’m only critical of RNC leadership. We need that engagement not just in the media but in our neighborhoods as well, from all levels of leadership—and I’m tired of our party only showing up in neighborhoods during election seasons. We should go and stay there. The Republican party will win elections for the republican party and candidates that all adhere to the party-agreed platform. To change things folks must beging the process of hijacking the party from within and pull it back to more of a constitutional base; we  also need to take up in the neighborhoods instead of demanding that the party do it all. We’re outsourcing liberty evangelism to the party we claim isn’t conservative enough. Changing hears and minds is our responsibility. I could say more on this, but just watch the show for now.

The Obama breakfast logo is a joke so close to truth I wouldn’t be shocked if there really was such a thing.

I’m critical because I want to win. The winning side sets the agenda. I want the agenda set with conservative principles as the foundation.
