I’m broadcasting my radio program from Las Vegas today at NSSF’s SHOT Show, so there won’t be live television programming but I will be live-streaming some on Facebook. I have a good rotation of special guests and everything of course will be archived for later listening, for those who can’t catch the show live.

As we rolled into Vegas late yesterday evening the Senate was still hammering out the details to just the rules package. Mitch McConnell is the Bane of the Senate (“Oh, you think the Senate is your ally. But you merely adopted the Senate; I was born in it, molded by it.”) for Democrats at least; his brilliant maneuvering forced Pelosi’s hand without any of her demands and his refusal to conduct the investigation the House is responsible for conducting left Schiff looking foolish when pressed to name actionable offenses. They’re expected to fight it out all the way up until the Iowa caucus, bad news for Sanders, Warren, and Klobuchar, who are tied up in an impeachment of their own making while Biden and Buttigieg run around the state shaking hands and kissing babies.
