The much discussed attempt to normalize “new age flashing” ahead of a Hillary run isn’t working so well for the Clintons. The Weiner defenses so far have consisted of two mantras:
1) “All men cheat”
2) Bill Clinton did it and won a second term!
The latter doesn’t sit well with Hillary Clinton, who, twenty-some-odd years later, shows that America never really moved on from the Clinton sexcapades.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are angry with efforts by mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner and his campaign to compare his Internet sexcapades — and his wife Huma Abedin’s incredible forgiveness — to the Clintons’ notorious White House saga, The Post has learned.
“The Clintons are upset with the comparisons that the Weiners seem to be encouraging — that Huma is ‘standing by her man’ the way Hillary did with Bill, which is not what she in fact did,’’ said a top state Democrat.
Oh yes she absolutely did. She stood right by Bill and continued with the happy wife routine. Time may change, but facts don’t. She is right, though, it’s nothing like what Bill did. Bill didn’t send crotch shots, he was accused of rape and had oral sex in the Oval Office.
