Larry Conners joined me on my program today to talk about his firing from KMOV after he made an observation about the IRS on Facebook.

“Oh no. I don’t know, ask them who wrote the statement,” Conners said when I asked him if he wrote the statement he was forced to read on air shortly before his departure. Conners also explained that his problems with the IRS intensified right after his interview with the President. He was prohibited from expounding on this by KMOV and its parent corporation, Belo Corp., which led to people questioning his credibility.

“I’m not going to put a 30-year record of journalism on the line over a Facebook post,” Conners quipped in response.
