Twice in the past ten days multiple media outlets have debunked the questionable statistics and claims promoted by Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun lobbyist group Everytown. First there was the New York Times which debunked lobbyist group Moms Demand’s false claim that open carriers frightened employees into a freezer at a Texas Jack-in-the-Box. CNN later debunked the dishonest “74 school shootings since Newtown” list released by Bloomberg’s group just a few weeks later. The outlet fact-checked another favorite but false saying of the extreme anti-2A group, their claim that mass shootings are on the rise. The CDC report on firearms commissioned by the President last year disputed this claim; now CNN is, too. From Jake Tapper:

Cue accusations of CNN and Politifact being members of the “gun lobby” in 3 … 2 … 1 …
